Stealth key is titanium: it is impossible to copy or decode it with its heart!

The idea that someone picks up a picture of your house key and makes a copy of that picture is closer to a fantasy idea, though not excluded! Not only after some German pirates forged the fingerprint of the German Defense Minister, Ursula von der Lin, in a way that used standard photographs of the minister published in a number of local media! They were only required to find a high-resolution picture of the minister in one of the public events that show the palm of her hand clearly, they printed that picture paper and then copied to a plastic board and then add some material to become a fingerprint ready to use to open a lock or bypass any security procedures of the Minister, As an iPhone for example! So the idea of copying something much simpler than the fingerprint as the key to your home does not seem fanciful at all! It only needs someone with some skill and most of them. Playing the role of an electronic pirate or hacker has become popular for most of these days.

This is what the famous Swiss company UrbanAlps thought of at least a fantasy: the key to the three-dimensional printing technology, made entirely of titanium and hiding its colors and blades inside, so it is impossible to analyze its design as well as copy or falsify it! They gave him a good name: Stealth Key!
Alejandro Ojeda, the co-founder of UrbanAlps, says that with the help of 3D metal printing technology, specifically laser optics, they have been able to manufacture and design complex structures and interior parts inside the optical key and hide them from electronic imaging and scanning lenses. This simple idea was impossible in the old traditional manufacturing and design methods, or at least it was too costly and useless to serve as a security solution for the general public. But with 3D metal printing technology, it was possible at a cost that could be afforded. To achieve this, it took Alejandro to leave the company for some time to get a Ph.D. in laser science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and then return to work again on the key invincible!
The real challenge, however, was not in the manufacture of the ghost key, in spite of the genius and difficulty of its design; but in the heart of the cylindrical lock capable of reading the blades and keys of the unconventional key. The most important point here is that this cylindrical heart works steadily and effectively all the time because this is what drives people to buy this type of mechanical locks so far. Although digital technology is dominated by everything currently.

Despite the availability and spread of electronic locks and their attractiveness, the cylindrical mechanical locks remain the dominant market share of 90%! The reasons for this stability may be due to the fact that these locks have a life span of 20 to 30 years, or because they always work effectively without failure, even once, which of course is not guaranteed with electronic locks that can be temporarily disrupted for any reason. The locks on the mechanical cylinder do not require anything other than the key to operate! No battery or power source is needed, as with electronic solutions.

If the traditional cylindrical cylinder heart is an engineering work that is already complete when you look at its design and mechanism with ordinary keys, why design a key lock? Nothing less than genius and creativity here! Both in the exterior design of the lock or its very amazing mechanism of operation to read the key accurately and consistently every time you use it.
Of course, he described the ghost key as "impossible to copy" with some exaggeration because in fact nothing is technically impossible. Only to break the protection and copy of the ghost key is to have the potential pirate with a lot of experience in the key industry, a doctorate in laser science, a three-dimensional imaging scanner, and borrow the same key for some time to copy it accurately! Perhaps we do not exaggerate in describing the breaking of this lock protection as impossible, at least for the foreseeable future!
You can purchase this UrbanAlps security solution at a price of US $ 200 (only!) For a single lock that is equipped with fake bulletproof keys. Some, including me, may see this price as high against a mechanical security lock; but it is all dependent on the importance and confidentiality of what you want to keep and protect. Do you have what it takes to have a ghost key to protect it ?!
